• Journal entries and associated metadata you create within the Service

We do not use third-party analytics, tracking cookies, or any form of usage tracking. We do not collect data beyond what you explicitly provide.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Calculate and collect applicable taxes on subscription charges
• Protect against fraudulent or illegal activity

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your journal entries remain private and are only accessible to you.

We share your billing address and location with our payment processor, Stripe, solely for the purpose of calculating and remitting applicable taxes as required by law. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

When you delete your account, we retain your data for a 90-day grace period to allow for account reactivation. During this period, your data is not accessible but remains stored in our systems. After 90 days, all personal data — including journal entries, account information, and associated metadata — is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

The same 90-day retention period applies if your free trial expires without subscribing. Any data entered during the trial is retained for 90 days to allow you to subscribe and recover your data. After 90 days, it is permanently deleted.
